How do I pick my own pumpkins?

There is a small entry fee at Cattows Farm. From as little as £2 per person you can head out to the fields to choose your own farm grown pumpkin – its never been easier!

We are open from 9am – 5pm Monday to Sunday. All our pumpkins, squashes and ornamental gourds are sold by weight and can start from as little as 20p. Typically an average size pumpkin would cost approximately £1.50 – £3.50, with massive ones in the region of £5 – £10 each. One thing the supermarkets can’t compete with is the price or the view from the pumpkin field!

When arriving at the farm you can take advantage of complimentary use of our wheelbarrows, however during busy times there can sometimes be limited availability. Other good ideas are to bring strong carrier bags or bin bags along to help carry them back from the field.

The pumpkin field is approximately 150m from the farm shop. Once you’ve visited the pumpkin field and have selected your pumpkins, simply bring them back to the farm shop to have them weighed and pay. We accept all major bank cards here at the farm.

There’s lots to do!

Throughout October we have other activities planned such as our extended fun fair and inflatable zone, our food and live entertainment zone, over 20 exciting photo opportunities and our extra premium Fantasy Land. For £7 per person you can experience Trick of Treat Street, Plants vs Zombies and our giant Spooky Corn Maze Trail.
